Inside the school students have made recycle bins from carton boxes and decorated them with used paper.


Bins have been placed in each classroom for Paper,Plastic,Aluminium paper.


They wanted to do what we can to make students aware of benefits of recycling and to help save our environment.

However when the skips are full please do not leave it outside or next to the skips since items exposed to the wind might fly away and cause harmful pollution and death to animals.

Batelco’s E-billing service, which was launched in 2009 has been very successful in reducing the amount of paper bills being issued to its customers.


The free service allows customers to access their bills at anytime online as well as receiving their monthly bill directly to their email account. Customers can also opt to use the e-billing service to pay their bills online via the e-billing site by credit or debit card.

Customers who still haven’t activated e-Billing may visit www.e-services.com.bh and click on the link for e-Billing and follow the directions.

Supermarkets that have public access recycle banks

March 11th 2009 The first skips from the Recycling for Charity where delivered to Alosra Saar.


The Brightly colored containers are made it such a way that everything has to be posted.


Paper/ metals/ white glass/ colored glass/ plastics can be deposited in the bins placed. There has been such a great effort from the public that they had to increase the bins from to six as they fill up at super high speed.

The bins have been moved to just past the gas station as the previous location cause traffic problems.

They were the only supermarket to charge for the plastic bags.


However this met enormous opposition from most of their customers.


And so they withdrew this world wide adopted initiative.

I would like to see ALL supermarket in the Kingdom to simultaneously adopt this as a rule and donate the proceeds to beautification and parks around the Kingdom.

Since stories have started surfacing more recently, many have wondered, if the rumors are true.


Are there really 'continents', or massive floating garbage patches residing in the pacific ocean?


Apparently, the rumors are true, and these unsightly patches are reportedly killing marine life and releasing poisons that enter the human food chain, as well.
