When I was at the Brunel Lecture I met another very interesing person, never realising when I met him that I was very interesed in the project he supports:

Ahmed Buhazza, a member of its advisory committee and the executive director of the project Recycle IT.

About the project:

To enhance the abilities of young Bahraini youth, and equip them with the skills needed to be financially independent, through a national and practical training program that promotes environmental preservation and optimum utilization of Information Technology.

Recycle IT project is shining in the Middle East. Under the sponsor of Sheikh Nasser, the Good Word Society is accomplishing their innovative and pioneering initiative in the field of human development

Recycle IT Project’ will work hardly to find the way to get the best of e-waste.

How you can help?

If you have some old computers and computer accessories such as keyboards, mice, printers...etc. you may take them to Good Word Society in Muharraq. If you have large quantities please contact us to arrange for drop-off or free pick-up.

You can call the Good Word Society in Muharraq, and let them know that you have some electronic devices and you want to give them for the Recycle iT Project.
